An integrated approach to massage therapy. It has been on the menu from the very beginning of Balance and Peace in Panama City because we wanted to create a different and unique experience for our clients. A massage that lets our passions and strengths shine, while customizing the massage to meet the client’s goals.
The integrated massage is a happy medium between a swedish massage (for relaxation) and the deep tissue massage (for injury or rehabilitation). This is a massage that is tailored to meet your individual needs and may use a variety of techniques the massage therapist has in their repertoire. The massage may pull techniques from myofascial therapy, trigger point therapy, reflexology, orthopedic massage, thai massage, or cranial sacral therapy to name a few. If the techniques are the ingredients, your massage is the chef’s special.
It’s a customer favorite, and the ultimate in balance and peace.
Here is a checklist to figure out if the integrated massage is the choice for you:
~ Do you have an area (for example: neck, shoulders, feet, low back) you would like focused on?
~ Do you still want a full body massage?
~ Do you like techniques beyond the basics?
~ Do you like hot stones incorporated into your massage? (The stones are usually used in a site specific way, this is not a “hot stone massage”. Stones are something that MAY be used.)
~ Does a little aromatherapy added in sound like heaven?
~ Are you looking for a combination of relaxation and tension or pain relief?
~ Are your issues related to pregnancy, sports related, or from an injury or accident? (If the answer is yes, another massage type is more fitting.)
The integrated massage is the signature massage at Balance and Peace Massage Therapy. We don’t charge anything extra to include aromatherapy, hot stones, or adding a little more pressure.
The massage may be slightly different every time you come in, because your needs may change. The massage will also vary between therapists. We each have our own tool box. Our experiences and passions have filled our tool boxes in different ways!
For the ultimate in the ultimate massage, try our 90 minute integrated massage. Your body and mind will thank you!
