What Do Men Want?

I have been doing some homework researching different valentine ideas for my shop.  Then I was distracted by something I found odd.  There was little to no mention about men.  Finding Valentine’s Day gifts for the women is easy!  Advertisements to the moon for roses, jewelry, chocolates, stuffed animals, and restaurants.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy! Men don’t even have to think or put any effort into finding a gift for his special someone.  But ladies!!  What do we do?  We want to make our man feel special too.  Guys are not into flowers or cute teddy bears.  You give your man a stuffed animal he will probably question your mental health.  (To quote a good friend) “Valentine’s Day is not a man’s holiday …. so, trying to drill down on what they want is tricky.”  If you do find an article all it has to offer is SEX…BEEF JERKY? ……….. Beard oil.  So, I changed my focus to men.   I kept reading and searching, and everything kept coming up the same.  So, I went to my Facebook and asked the question, Guys what do you want for Valentine’s day?  Because surely this had to be fake news, right? And I got the same answers as the articles I had been reading.   They listed sex, alcohol, spending time with their significant other, and gadgets matching their hobbies.  So, the articles were spot on for the most part on what guys want.  But no one mentioned Beef Jerky or beard oil. 

What I walked away from this research with, is this WE ARE OVER THINKING THIS LADIES! Men are not that tricky to gift for on Valentine’s Day. Your man will love anything you do for him. It doesn’t have to extravagant. They are completely happy with a home cooked dinner accompanied with Netflix and chill.
